  In May this year,Wufengshan,the first new eight Lane Expressway in Jiangsu Province,passed the evaluation of seven experts,including Zhong Zhihua,academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering,Zhou Wei,chairman of the expert committee of the Ministry of transport.

  The Taihu tunnel of Suzhou Wuxi Changzhou Expressway under construction is 10.79 km long and will be built into a"future smart tunnel".

  The design daily flow of the eight Lane Shanghai Nanjing Expressway is 115000 vehicles.At present,the daily average traffic volume of the whole line is 120000 vehicles,including 150000 vehicles in the east section and 270000 vehicles in the peak day."Roads do not have the conditions for large-scale engineering expansion.With the arrival of a new era of intelligent and high-speed development and construction,we are trying to build a highway perception system."Yang dengsong,executive deputy director of Nanjing Shanghai Expressway Operation Management Center,introduced that the 42 kilometer demonstration area of Shanghai Nanjing Expressway intelligent high-speed new infrastructure project includes 183 sets of millimeter wave radar equipment,75 sets of high-definition monitoring cameras,8 sets of main line bayonet and other system equipment,3 sets of data analysis and decision-making platform,and more than 300g of multi-source sensing data every day Special lanes for truck automatic driving,Lane active management and control system,vehicle road collaborative cloud control platform,etc.can realize intelligent travel on expressways."
 
  Suzhou takes the lead in driverless public transportation

  In Xiangcheng District of Suzhou,8.4km 5g demonstration road has been built in the central area of high-speed rail new city.Meanwhile,55 km of 5g intelligent network connection road phase II is under construction,covering 16 roads,focusing on building 35 smart intersections.It is estimated that more than 400 sets of intelligent network connection equipment will be deployed.Now it has opened five kinds of commercial scenes,such as sanitation,taxi and public transportation.Among them,intelligent sanitation vehicles and pedestrian free vehicles have been put into operation,automatic driving minibuses have provided the public with normal experience lines,and the first 5g automatic driving taxi connection trial ride in the province has been opened to the public.
 
  On December 3,near the North Station of Suzhou high-speed railway,reporters and several citizens of Suzhou boarded a"canoe unmanned minibus".The safety guard in the driver's seat"took off the handle".The minibus drove automatically and ran smoothly."5G+automatic driving system allows the car to look at the road itself,avoid it and change its path along the track."The safety officer said that the bus line set up on the open road is the first 5g unmanned bus line with normal operation in China,which has attracted the attention of many citizens since it was put on the road.
