   1.03 million charging piles have been connected to the grid,providing charging services for 4.8 million electric vehicles,which is the latest record recently created by the smart Internet of vehicles platform of State Grid.In recent years,the State Grid Corporation of China has made every effort to serve and promote the development of the new energy vehicle industry.It has built a"ten vertical,ten horizontal and two ring"expressway rapid charging network,covering 171 cities and more than 50000 kilometers of expressways.It has continuously strengthened the research,development and application of new technologies such as vehicle to power grid(V2G),forming China's charging and swapping standard system,which has become the world's four major standards in parallel with the United States,Europe and Japan The system has created the world's largest and most extensive intelligent Internet of vehicles platform,serving all walks of life and thousands of households,and contributing to China's energy transformation.
 
  Meet users'multi scenario energy demand
 
  According to the data,as of November this year,more than 1.03 million charging piles have been connected to the smart Internet of vehicles platform.These charging piles cover 273 cities in China,including 140000 self operated charging piles of State Grid,380000 individual charging piles,and more than 510000 public charging facilities are connected,accounting for more than 90%of the national total.
 
  In highway and city,the inconvenience of charging is the most concerned problem of electric vehicle owners.It is understood that the State Grid has built 2003 Expressway fast charging stations,7027 urban public stations and 3476 dedicated charging stations,with 35000 charging and exchanging facilities in County cities.In addition,more than 600 sets of shore power facilities have been connected to the national shore power operation service platform covering"two vertical and one horizontal",covering more than 3000 kilometers of waterway along the Yangtze River,the Beijing Hangzhou canal and coastal basins.

  There are a lot of pollutants produced by freight cars and trucks,which need to be electrified urgently.China's first electric heavy truck intelligent power exchange system developed by State Grid and Huaneng Group has been officially put into operation after 100 days of high-intensity trial operation,which has opened the process of electric energy substitution for large-scale construction vehicles in China.
 
  Sun Jian,director of heavy truck project of State Grid Electric Vehicle Service Co.,Ltd.,said:"from January to April this year,we conducted a low-temperature environmental test operation for more than three months.Even at the low temperature of-40℃,the whole system can operate safely and stably."In the future,the State Grid will accelerate the promotion of this power exchange system in mineral rich areas such as Inner Mongolia,Tibet,Qinghai,Xinjiang and so on.It is planned that by 2025,more than 5000 sets of heavy trucks will be replaced by electricity,and the replacement power is expected to reach 4 billion kWh.
 
  Heavy duty vehicles should be electrified,so should their charging.On June 19,the China Japan Joint Conference on charging technology of new generation electric vehicles was held online.State Grid Corporation of China and Japan electric vehicle rapid charger Association released white paper on Chaoji conduction charging technology of electric vehicles and chademo3.0 standard.The new generation Chaoji charging technology is a complete set of DC charging system solutions for electric vehicles,which can achieve a maximum charging current of 360 amperes and a charging power of 900 kW.The electric vehicle can travel 400 km in 5 minutes after charging.This technology has a wide range of application prospects.It can cover the mainstream passenger car field and meet the special needs of heavy-duty vehicles.
 
  The first domestic double fork type intelligent power exchange system has been put into operation in Inner Mongolia,realizing the automatic battery replacement of 90 ton electric ore card in 4 minutes.
 
  The Internet of vehicles platform connects 110 charging pile enterprises,330 small and medium-sized operators and platform operators,more than 30 vehicle enterprises,3000 enterprise users and 100 Internet platforms.The unified IOT platform can improve the access efficiency of charging facility platform by 50%and reduce the access cost by 80%;the big data platform can provide comprehensive digital support for the development of the country and industry,and help all types of travel companies to reduce costs and increase efficiency;the interconnection platform can realize mutual start-up and stop payment with special call,star charging,China Southern Power Grid,Xiaoju and other operators.
 
  In addition,the State Grid has further improved the efficiency of linking with electric vehicle users,constantly tap the new needs of electric vehicle users,open the"e-charging"app community function,and built a home for millions of platform electric vehicle owners to exchange their experience and share electric vehicle life;the new platform merchant number function has attracted electric vehicle manufacturers,merchants and media to settle in,and directly reach one million electric vehicle owners,With more abundant information content and more characteristic charging travel service,we will build a head service platform for gathering electric vehicle users.
 
  Reduce the overall charging cost of society
 
  The large-scale development of electric vehicles brings not only infinite opportunities but also great challenges.
 
  "In 2040,China will have 300 million electric vehicles.From the perspective of opportunities,electric vehicle charging is orderly guided,which can greatly improve the utilization rate of power grid equipment and save investment by nearly 70%.The power battery can reach more than 20 billion kwh,which will provide 12 billion kwh of energy storage and 4.8 million MW of regulation capacity for the grid State Grid electric vehicle company said.
 
  However,the orderly development of the industry has a long way to go.At present,there will be more than 10000 charging equipment suppliers,more than 4 million communities,and more than one million supporting operation teams and piling companies,involving nearly 20 million employees.The huge industrial chain needs further coordination and upgrading.In addition,there is still the phenomenon of disordered charging of electric vehicles in some places,which will aggravate the peak valley difference of regional power grid.Simply increasing capacity and upgrading lines will double the power investment of the whole society and increase the power consumption cost of end users.
